James Alan Fox, Ph.D. back to STAT Team

Mr. Fox has been on the faculty of Northeastern University for thirty years, serving as dean from 1991 until 1999 and has been a Lipman Family Chair holder since then.

The author of sixteen books, including The Will to Kill (2006) and Extreme Killing (2005), Fox has also been a columnist for the Boston Herald, writing three times monthly on crime and justice issues.

He is regularly quoted in major newspapers and interviewed on national television and frequently lectures on college campuses and to community and corporate groups.

James Fox is a visiting fellow with the Bureau of Justice Statistics of the US Department of Justice and has been profiled in The New York Times (2006), USA Today (1995), Scientific American (1996) and elsewhere.
